Just for once, we’d like to accentuate the negative…
The word ‘No’ isn’t always as bad as it sounds. At least not when it applies to those prickly subjects of our fees and your commissions. In fact the ‘No’ word in relation to either of those matters can be music to your ears….
The ‘No’ word and us…
I can see your charges opposite – are there any others? No – none whatsoever. With us, what you see is what you get – full stop.So you’re saying that you’ll never clobber me with little (or big) unexpected extra costs? No – and that’s a promise.
I suppose your fees are based on a percentage of my turnover? No, they’re not. They’re calculated on the number of completions made each month.
I guess you only want to deal with big players? No, all we ask is that you have a minimum turnover of £20,000 a ***** and that’s it.
The ‘No’ word and you…
When it comes to my commission payments, will I be kept waiting? No you won’t. In fact we have an express payment facility, meaning that you’ll be paid before we’ve even received the funds from the lender. We’ll pay you on completion – by BACS if that’s what you’d like - 24 hours after we receive confirmation from the lender.
Do you impose onerous lock in clauses? In a word, ‘no’. If you decide to leave us, all we ask is that you give 90 days notice.
Will you ever try and poach my clients? No – again you have our word on it. Your clients are your property.
And one last ‘No’…
As you of all people realise, it’s not the easiest of markets at the moment.
