The Invesco Perpetual Distribution Fund provides its investors with exposure to two different asset classes: bonds and equities. If either asset class becomes more or less attractive than the other, then the managers can increase or decrease their weightings accordingly. So your money is very much managed on a balanced basis and directed where it’s thought the greatest potential lays. The fund aims to invest a minimum of 60% in fixed interest securities, the balance being invested in equities. Investment is further diversified within each asset class. The fixed interest element of the portfolio will invest in government bonds, investment-grade and high yield bonds and cash; equities will be chosen - in any and all areas of the market - primarily for their income-generating potential but also with an eye on their growth prospects. Over the next 12 months the initial gross annual income and gross redemption yield is estimated to be X.X%*. This can be paid to you as income or left invested in the fund to compound your investment’s growth potential.

The managers

Paul Causer and Paul Read look after the fixed interest side of the portfolio – while Neil Woodford manages the equity side of things. Between them, they have over 50 years’ experience of managing equity and bond investments and each has long-term performance records that exceed those of their peers. Together, they constitute a team that is one of the best and most successful in the fund management industry.
