ACPI is an independent asset management company serving the needs of Institutional investors, family offices and ultra high net worth individuals. Worldwide, we employ 35 investment professionals, managing assets in excess of USD $2.5bn (as of 31 July 2009).
We believe in giving our managers scope. To meet our absolute return objective and maintain our focus on capital preservation, our teams are free to choose where and when to invest the assets in their charge. As well having our range of in house funds at their disposal, they can also choose from our ‘Best of Breed’ funds, run by some of the world’s best fund managers.
Other firms may say that their interests are closely aligned with those their clients but the question is to what degree? We practice what we preach: the strategies we develop and the recommendations we make, we will adopt and back with our own money. And as many of our people are stakeholders in the business, they have a vested interest in our client’s success and satisfaction with our service.
Not only are we quick to spot appropriate opportunities, we’re also quick to act on them. Our streamlined investment committee – a team of six – substantially accelerates the decision-making process. Although we have strong risk management controls in place throughout the business, the investment committee has the power to veto any and all risk-related decisions.
